The cells in my brain can travel a mile
As long as it fits the curves of your smile
Coz for you, my vision aint woolly
That’s why every single glance I miss
Vehemently procures away my awaited bliss
These tiny ears leave me no choice
For it only resounds your voice
But I won’t ever take it as wonky
Coz your voice just makes it all okay
Every moment I meet you in the aisle
Makes every walking distance worth while
What you don’t know is I purposely pass by
Just so I could greet you and say hi
Though I am just your ordinary pal
It won’t make me any less of a gal
Yes I adore you oh-so-deeply
But no it aint enough to make me flirty
So boy adjourn your dallying
It just can’t persuade me from playing
Just one of the doodles of my heart interpreted by my brain. I made this for someone who got me head over sneakers for years. I wrote this after that memorable lunch at Yellow cab with him almost two years ago.
