Re-falling in Love With Little Women

An old maid, that's what I'm to be. A literary spinster, with a pen for a spouse, a family of stories for children, and twenty years hence a morsel  of fame perhaps... When I'm old, and can't enjoy it; solitary, and can't share it; independent, and don't need it. Well, I needn't be a sour saint nor a selfish sinner and I dare say, old maids are very comfortable when they get used to it, but...

                                                                                                                                                 - Josephine March, Little Women

Back when I was newly single ( which was a year and a half ago), I used to think exactly like Jo did.

Well, just like what happened to Jo, I also stumbled on love at the most unexpected time and with the most unexpected person.

I currently have no new set of darlings to read so going over the pages of Little Women for the nth time is just my kind of heaven. They say a good book is a good book indeed when you read it a million times and still go over the same river of emotions when you first read it.

Well, to say that Little Women is a good book is a major understatement. Coz really, it is one of the greatest books ever written. Forreallydou.

Have you noticed the bookmark on the first photograph? Let's take a closer look.

meet Curly, my fave bookmark ever! Got her as a Christmas gift from a very good friend.
Can anybody tell me where to find a bookmark as classic as this babe?

I've been rummaging through every single bookstore and school supplies store I could think of but to no avail, I still haven't found one. =(

Have you read Little Women too? What are your thoughts about it?

If you still haven't read it, well sister, go hit the nearest bookshop and grab a copy now!

forever in love and in awe with Little Women,
EU.
