October 29, 2011 marked the day of my paternal grandmom's 80th birthday.
Years back, when the need of a wheelchair wasn't as much as a necessity to her,I remembered one of my cousins told her we'd give her a bonggang party when she turns 80.
And indeed, Lola Porceda Echem Yare Emano successfully made it to her 80th with her growing family.
Originally, I bought an off white above-the-knee dress for the ocassion but my gosh!
as in
MY GOOOOOSH! prolonged please
My mother is such a huge fan of color coordination that she wants all four of us (me, sister, Papa and her) in the same shade!
Of course, I protested but in the end, I lost. She was my mother and well, I am such an obedient little daughter (ahem) so I gave in to fulfill her color coordination madness.
And the result?
Cheneeeen!
