The Bamboozling Booze

I am not ashamed, no not even an inch, that at 22, I've only been to bars twice and was only drunk once.

In a world where people's definition of living life to the fullest is partying as hard as a rock star, getting dirty on the dance floor and most of all, getting execrable doses of booze and lots of booze, I may be considered one boring-myopic-under-height young lady who does not know how to party but oh hey, guess what?

I'd rather be that boring-myopic-under-height young lady who does not know how to party than blend in to what many's definition of living life to the fullest and having fun is.

That being said, I wonder what would people be like if I suddenly throw a party filled with nothing but booze, booze and more booze?

I mean, I just bumped into a photo in my tumblr account and, oh well, it just stirred a crazy craaaaazy idea inside my goofy li'l mind. Here's the picture I'm talking about:
HAHA! Call me weirdo or what-have-you but I just really find it... hmm, what's the word? Funny? Amusing? Well, whatever. I just really caught myself smiling at the idea of throwing fits of squirmy yet muffled laughters at the sight of people faking inebriety. LOL =D

If I can actually carry out this crazy idea, perhaps I'll serve something like this...
Now, looking at that picture, would you even think that's nothing but an innocent glass of service water? I have this tendency to click click click my camera on whatever I fancy whenever I eat out and this glass of water was one of my chosen photographic proclivity victims that night. I'm sure you were thinking it was some kind of Vodka, yes? Plus those tiny water bubblets at the top of the glass sure did looked like the ever obligatory salt partner!

So how'd I know abouth thingummies like the salt on Vodka if I wasn't an avid party-goer and boozer, you ask? Well, to make the long story short, I am not that unmindful of the party world and so, I tried a zip of Vodka on my first bar entrance and voila! Days after the eventful happening in my life, I found out I was allergic to alcohol to which I had to endure numerous fuuugly some little some gargantuan red ewwy blemishes all over my body!

To set the record straight, I certainly have nothing against people who live life to the fullest by partying the hard way because believe me, I've been there and I've done that and for the littlest time I've experienced that, I must admit that yes, it sure was oodles of fun and oh boy oh boy getting drunk was more of like taking pill after pill of happiness tablets for it sure made me high with happy hormones.

And then I had to endure awful bouts of trips to the comfort room to oh boy oh boy disgorge everything until I felt my stomach churned to oh so much pain. Plus the accompanying, ever so obligatory presence of hang-over the day after!

One try was all it took for me to realize that the rock star lifestyle wasn't made for me and yes, that was the time I was convinced that indeed, I am an old soul who'd prefer spending Friday nights over a good book than dancing the night away in some dark, steamy, smoky bar.

the li'l Miss Old Soul trapped inside the body of a boring-myopic-under-height young lady,
EU.

  7. Got drunk once palang? There's no shame in that!!! I got drunk numerous times na (when I was younger haha) and I hate it every time. I haven't been drinking for the past 5 years I think? Hindi naman sa nag quit na ako (its not like I was a raging alcoholic, but I used to go clubbing a lot back then), its just that wala lang, ayoko na ng lasa ng alak. Nakakasuka. Lol.
