I hate being the one to wait on someone. Oh, we all do! But then, times like that are inevitable so there's nothing you can do about it but sit around and wait. But then again, you have a choice as to what you are going to do while waiting. Books are Valium for the impatient so while I wait, I read. hmm, well and good!
And oh boyaaah, when I am with an absolutely good read, I really do not mind waiting in vain! The second book of the much talked-about Hunger Games Trilogy is EPIC. READ: EPIC!
I have a hunger for authors who teach me new vocabulary words but I am amazed at how Collins is such a simple writer. When reading suspense novels, I really appreciate an author's effort of making the whole reading experience simple. Some authors will always give you the hassle of going over the dictionary just to get a grasp of what he/she is trying to say and Collins is so not one of them.

I recently banned myself from eating too many cups of rice so I opted to skip rice for lunch and settled for the three babies above instead.
I know that when combined, they have a tad more calories than a cup of rice and it means higher chances of gaining additional digits on the weighing scale but oh la di dah, MY HAPPY HORMONES ARE DEPLETING (coupled with this ugly nervy feeling of uneasiness for what's in store for me next week) and if piling on calories mean piling on an endorphin boost, then I am more than willing to let oodles of them swim into my bloodstream.
when I unwrapped the boyfran's random gift to me, I immediately noticed a glitch - S is missing on Collins! I thought my Mockingjay is fake but of course, I'm jut being paranoid. haha |
Please pray for my soul!
