The Misamis Oriental Aquamarine Park or more commonly known as MOAP, is famous in my side of the planet not merely because of the wonderful walk way towards the sea but also because of its Dolphins.
Unfortunately for us, we only stopped at MOAP for a good 30 minutes to an hour to take our breakfast. We would have loved to mingle with the mystic water mammals but time didn't allowed us to.
In fact, when we returned to our bus, all the people were waiting for us. ugh...the pressures of travelling with policemen - they are always on time!
It would have been more pleasurable if we had time to dilly dally but no, we didn't want to get reprimanded.
Breakfast by the beach is just capital AWESOME! oh, if only the rice they served us wasn't half-cooked, btw.
Half way through our destination, I took a moment to go back at the memory of Selena Gomez' movie, Monte Carlo and then I realized, this is the unpretty part of going on vacation under a travel and tours agency - you are always under time constraints. And for someone like me who's used to taking ALL the time I want to savor each moment in every place I am in, I have come to this final decision: I'll never go for yet another tour package anymore.
It may be more convenient since all the itineraries were already prepared and we were provided with good transportation but a vacation is never really a vacation when you can't to get rid of your watch and just be lost in time.
I'm not dissing the travel and tours we were under for our vacation. All I'm saying is, Dapitan would have been A LOT LOVELIER if we were given all the time we want to enjoy it to our heart's content. But then again, we availed of a BUDGET PACKAGE so yeah right, who am I to complain?
