Rocks

Well, obviously, I can't quite squeeze any creative juices at the moment to give this post a more blog-worthy title. To find out why this birdbrain of a so-called "blogger" opted to go for such lame title, you have to keep reading. hihi

For those of you who have been reading this blog for quite some time, I don't think I ever shared to you guys one of the highlights of my Manila trip three months ago. Yeees! I am the Queen of Backlogs! Hah!

And because I am currently uber lazy to hit the treadmill or do my dance workout videos, I am doing this entry instead to sort of look back on the day I passed my prometrics and went on to celebrate the rest of the day at SM Mall of Asia.

And because it's been years since I last flooded the dash with photos of myself, ahem...
it's payback time! HAHAHAHA!

And guess what? I still haven't finished reading this book yet! Call it separation anxiety.
feelingerang frog part 1
feelingerang frog part 2

And the following photos, ladies and gentlemen, explains the title of this entry! clap clap clap

I finally gained some composure.

Uhm. Coz I felt that I have to end this post with a photo of my happy self. Yeah, I'm vain like that. Teehee!
There are still a lot (emphasis on the A LOT, please) of backlogs I have in store for you guys to make up for the blog-less weeks so I hope you're still here when I'm finally able to make those posts.

Unleashing Old Soul Tendencies through The Philippine Bamboo Organ Church

I have been to the The Philippine Bamboo Organ Church in Las Pinas for soooo many times already but because I've a set of gargantuan eyes that sees everything, I never knew that there was a Bamboo Organ Tour and for a whopping 50php only. READ: 50PHP.

If not for Don, we wouldn't find out about the tour and it was not even part of our itinerary for that day but since we still had time to spare, we decided to give it a go and that's when consecutive ooohs and ahhhhs came out my lips as my gargantuan eyes grew all the more gargantuan with all them lovely vintage pieces of what-has-been's.

with the cousin Koy

The Philippine Bamboo Organ Church is really nothing grand compared to a lot of BIG and well-decorated cathedrals but the history it has with it is just something that I find myself getting goosebumps while marveling at its beauty that has been preserved over the years. So for a tour worth 50php, what we experienced was truly something grand in its own way.

I have always believed that I am an old soul trapped in the body of a myopic under height 20ish lady. Perhaps that's why I have always wanted to be in Vigan and perhaps that's why I love to make myself believe that somehow, I have been to Vigan through Las Pinas. ohh, a girl can dream

Star City: The Third Time's a Charmer!

I have been to Star City twice and for the third time, the high I felt escalated two to three octaves higher for two reasons:
A.) I gave Star Flyers a second shot after swearing I wouldn't ride it again last year
B.) I finally tried the EPIC Surf Dance which was under repair the time we visited Star City last year.

The thingummy we rode on during Pirate Adventure was too magalaw so we weren't able to take decent shots.

Pirate adventure was romantic. I briefly thought for a while that it felt like being on a boat ride in Venice - until all them mannequins started moving and creating creepy noises!

It's been almost a year since i last had a spa session with them doctor fishes and my reunion with them was ermm.. uber ticklish still!

ONE HELL OF A RIDE! I lost major amounts of body fluids through tears and sweat! Oh yeah, I lost A LOT of my poise and wits too! Good thing no photographers took photos from that ride coz if there was, that'd be the end of my dignity.

 Backless kung backless teh!

Before I lost all of my composure and every single atom of poise on my second shot at Star Flyers.

Before we hit an unknown route to Star City, we went on an adventure to look for Ateneo Professional Schools where I would take my prometrics exam and that was very daunting with a capital D, I tell you. So you can just imagine my delight when we finally found it! Hence, this photo. ;)

We would have been lost big time if not for my trusty maps! Yep, I printed them out from Google Maps! para san pa't naging girl scout ako dati, diba? =P

So yes, Star City the third time around is indeed a total charmer!

PS:

Oh yes, some things never change. No matter how many times you let me ride the Star Flyers, I would still keep on closing my eyes coz if I do open them, then I guess I'd have to bid tah-tah to my dear life. Forreallydou.

Typical

The kiddos already had their lunch back at McDonald's during the conclusion of their McKiddie Crew Workshop so they each had this Oreo Delight - which, I swear, really lived up to its name! Twas indeed filled with delight!

I had the typical Grilled Chicken with Mushroom Gravy and though my taste buds were delighted, this dish, called Fish Thermidor, was the yummiest things I've laid taste buds on that day!

If you are headed to Annabel's (they have a branch in Tomas Morato as well) make sure you treat them taste buds to this dish! Include some Roasted Stuffed Chicken and Monte Cristo! Those are my ultimate faves from Annabel's!

Annnd... quite not typical but there isn't any outfit shot for that day. So yeah, no outfit shot no matter how madly in love I was with my corset top and high waist jeans. Forreallydou.
