What's inside my bag are actually more bags. The brown one is my kikay kit while the pink elongated one is obviously for my pens. The third and fourth one are my sunglasses and eyeglasses respectively.
So what's currently in my bag? EVERYTHING ESSENTIAL WHEN A NURSE GOES ON DUTY.
Or in my case, everything essential when a girl scout nurse goes on duty. Really, I have lots of things to carry with me day by day that I don't fancy small bags at all.
1. Inside my Kikay Kit
Okay, so there are actually items in here which aren't supposed to be there simply because it has nothing to do with keeping a girl pleasing to other people's peepers.
For one, that Pepper Spray shouldn't be there but it's there so let's just keep it there.
Another thing, my keys, ermm, actually, just a KEY - yep, just a single key. It only looks like it's many because it has more key chains than the key itself. LOL
Next, that pink li'l container has also nothing to do with kakikayan. It contains many hair clips to keep my hair neat all throughout my hospital duty. The other tiny cubicles contain emergency meds like antihistamine and the eternal pain relievers for that monthly pain visitor.
The other items are indeed in their rightful throne in my kikay kit. I am not fond of putting too much make up - just the essentials to at least make me look fresh.
(from Left to Right)
Lip Thingummyjigs - oh actually, the first one's a lip and cheek tint so I don't need to put on blush. The second one is a two-way lip tint and lip gloss from Elf and a nude Nichido lipstick
Hand sanitizer
Vaseline's Aloe Fresh Hydrating Face and Body Lotion to keep my skin hydrated at all times
Maybelline's BB Cream with SPF for that not-too-made-up look and to protect me from getting skin cancer come old age
Nichido Lash Curlers and Nichido Eye Liner
Escada's Genie Collection Scent (what the scent is, I will not tell!) I love this perfume so much I can't help but be greedy! hehe ;)
iProtect Pepper Spray (which shouldn't be inside my kit but I love putting it there anyway!) this is a gift from my darling so that even when he's not around, I can still be one tough chic to protect myself. Oh yes, he is the sweetest =)
Vaseline Petroleum Jelly to keep my lips from cracking when the weather becomes to harsh for my lips to handle
EB Gray Eye Shadow so those peepers aren't too plain when I go out
2. Peeper Thingummyjigs
Obviously, the things I need for my eyes. Sunglasses, eyeglasses, contact lenses and the accompanying contact lenses solution.
3. Miscellaneous
Look! My comb is there too! HAHA... it should be inside my kikay kit, right? Well, it's simply too big for it and it just wouldn't fit it there so voila! The comb goes into the miscellany section.
Other items here includes:
-the tiniest Sto.Nino I've ever seen in my entire life: it's a gift from mom and I always carry with me since I feel like I'm safe when it's with me.
-my red magic wallet and red crocheted coin purse: I have originally disposed off this wallet and have switched on a more lady-like wallet months ago but since I have started going on duty, I have switched back to this since it's easier to keep in my pocket.
-nurse's cap and mask: like I said, I just came from duty so basically, you'll really find these two things in my bag.
-handkerchief, umbrella, fan, water tumbler, tissue, wet wipes, cellular phone, Skyflakes for my always hungry tummy =)
4. Sanity Anchors
-Little Women: I have been reading this book for months now and I'm still not able to finish it due to the many other things I have to prioritize. Still, I read it whenever I can when my patients are well and when I'm done with the meds and the charts.
-tiny notepad, post-its, pens, my DTR.
very preppy ang kikay..so you, eun =)
ReplyDeletepati biskwit naka-baon pa..hehe korona ng girl scout goes to you!
