Day 15 - Something You Recently Bought for Yourself

It was payday and when it's payday, my just stouter purse instantly becomes emaciated. Though there's still a portion of my pay that goes to the bank, most of it goes to the mall making business moguls become all the more richer.

Anyway, just two days ago, I bought me a new book, a new dress, got my fave scent from Mom and Me refilled and a new BB cream. Originally, I was planning to buy a necklace at Accessorize but after rummaging their store for almost an hour for that satisfying piece I've been looking for, I ended up empty-handed.

I had no plans of buying a book yet since I still have 4 or 5 darlings that I haven't started reading due to some other things that has kept me busy for some time now. But oh dear, oh dear! My ever book-hungry eyes caught sight of this book entitled I'll Have What She's Having and it is authored by one of the brainchilds of the eternal Hillsong church. The book, as I read the back cover, is about how you look up to some women as your inspiration and how the love of God can inspire women to break out from their limited ideas and how they can be capable of living in glorious freedom. When I saw that book, I immediately remembered one of my fave authors Michelle McKinney Hammond, who is also an advocate of how God's love can unleash the hidden potentials of women. I am a sucker for self-help books and this new darling, I believe, is another inspirational book full of wisdom that will guide me as I continue to go on the journey of life.

I also bought a new bottle of BB cream. Just days ago, I was wondering why my BB cream from Maybelline doesn't seem to give me the kind of glow it usually has. Turns out, it was already expired and though it still has some amount left, I had no choice but to dispose it off.

I have been waiting for my fave scent from Mom and Me for months now and surprise surprise! I has arrived days ago so I really had my bottle refilled.

Just when I was about to go out the mall, I spotted this dear darling at one of the evil temptress windows of Plains and Prints and oh how I have failed to triumph over that alluring seduction!

Gaaa! I just had to buy that darling because you see, when I am not shopping for floral thinggummyjigs, the next thing on my list are stripes and my new baby is just the kind of navy stripes (with a touch of girly-girl pink) I've been looking for. So voila, my cash reserves dwindled at the end of the day but well, I was still beaming with heaps and heaps of merriment at the fruits of my labor. Keep the work coming, sweet Lord! =)

THIS WHOLE 15 DAY PHOTO CHALLENGE HAS FINALLY COME TO AN END.
REJOICE REJOICE! HAHA!
Au Revoir DAY 15! ^_^
