It goes on.

Once, I heard some kind of folk lore about how love birds should always be together. It said that the moment one dies, the other one dies soon after.

For a brief moment in March, I drew love birds with the number 2 underneath them.

In the next months that followed, one of them love birds decided it was time to fly away and set off into the sunset. The other one however, didn't die soon after thus defying what the folk lore had predicted.

Why, of course. It was because we weren't love birds. Though at that time it really felt like it should kill the one left behind, it apparently didn't in the long run.

Now I draw only one love bird - the one that's left behind.

And it should tell you why I opt to put that quote there.

Hey! This isn't a lame try at being a drama queen again. It is a lame try at justifying a far-out-cry-from-abstract drawing. Hehe =P

still a love bird,
Quing
