Memories in Siam

I've only been to Siam Thai Cuisine thrice. For someone who isn't earning much, it's one of the pricey eats around CDO so being able lay taste buds on their food is definitely one of my life's rare luxuries.

We only have two Thai Restaurants here. The other one, which was the first Thai Restaurant born in CDO is called Thai Me Up. I've only been there once and after the experience, I never wanted to go back. With Siam, it's totally different coz I would like to keep coming back if only I had all the money!

I love the gold and white ensembles of their interior and the staff are really accommodating and friendly!

From what I heard, Siam was originally from Cebu so when I read one blog post from Little Miss Honey about the Siam Cebu Branch, I was thrilled! I though their decors are the same as what we have here in CDO but it's totally different. Nevertheless, I'm sure that the yummy-ness and the excellent service they have here are the same as what they can offer in Cebu.

The following photos were taken two years ago. Siam was still new in CDO then and it was our first time to eat there.

Anyhoo, today is Easter Sunday and hurrah for yes! WE CAN ALL LET GO OF THE HUNGRY CARNIVORE in us!

Happy Easter, Folks!

Dinner Date and Major Catch Up

Been dying to spend some time with my girls and finally, finaleeeeee, it happened! That was a night filled with major catch up, yummy food and love.

Dynasty Court Hotel's lobby. Their restaurant where we had dinner is located at the door to your left.
Before the actual dinner, I first met up with Eliane. Majo is attending Law School and her class was due until 7pm so me and Eliane hanged out at Kiwi Swirl to pass the time.
Kiwi Swirl serves the best Frozen Yogurt in the city, I swear! Plus, the decors on display which are all for sale added a plus cozy feel to the shop. details about Kiwi Swirl and their magnificent decors in my next post!
We still had enough time so off we went to SM and killed the remaining time.
These are really wonderful Parisian lovies! I was intending to buy them gladiator flats but Eliane was rooting for the oxford flats saying it suits me better. I ended up empty handed coz I realized, we still had to have dinner and it was my treat. I got scared that if I bought those gladiators, I'd run short of money.
the view from our table
This was PICTURE PERFECT - if not for that gentleman on the background. We could use a little excuse me, please?
Majo was the sweetest! She bought us these mugs - friendship mugs! Thank You, Majo!
I asked the waiter what their Best Seller Fish Dish and he said it was this - Lapu-lapu with Sweet and Sour Sauce. And indeed, it deserves to be called BEST SELLER! Two thumbs up!
Stuffed Chicken Wings (but they don't look like wings!) Whatever. This was really yummy! I SWEAR!
At first, Majo refused to a pic with us here. There was baby Jesus and she is a Muslim. But after this photo, she really liked it! In fact, this is here current profile photo in her Facebook now! Thank's to Manong Security Guard for this! ;)
We had a stroll around DV Night Market to burn some calories and after bumping with some old friends and classmates, we decided to chill a bit before heading home. We realized we still haven't had our desert so off we went to The Sweet Shop. details about the cozy shop here
